To promote the waste management policy, Shaka focuses on using sustainable materials, by avoiding natural degradation and pollution-free, as well as, recycled and durable materials, the process of collecting and processing materials that would otherwise be thrown away as trash and turning them into new products, to produce accessories for cloth decorations, such as buttons and buckles.
First, we get inspiration from nature and stone with the contemporary concept we found Alex Proba, a renowned Contemporary Art artist from New York who emphasizes the use of colors and lines beautifully and perfectly. Therefore, we brought together the development of designing our form of buttons and buckles with recycled materials that are strong and durable to use and will be materials to be used in each season.
Which come together with the design made famous by the original Shaka identity that is first revealed in the Spring/ Summer 2021 Collection.
Take away: Recycle processing
Production of stamping processes, using molten waste plastic that has been crushed into small pieces and measure to get the right amount before pouring it into the forming tool which is designed through Shaka’s identity, with high standards of perfection, comes out to the perfect design to indicate the true Shaka.
