“GALA Tropical Glamour”
SAKU in the Spring/Summer 2020 Collection is inspired by the story of Grace Coddington during her time being an editor of Vogue magazine. She also had a chance to participate in the MET Gala, which made her so excited for being among people who showed off their elegant dresses and among many special guests.
The inspiration of Grace Coddington’s story is feathered in SAKU style, the “GALA Tropical Glamour” Spring/Summer 2020 Collection. The fashion details represent Tropical authentic concept with Craft work Ethnic style, such as woven net-like technique, mesh fabric with ruffle hem, and mesh fabric with embroidery sequins. Moreover, there are special woven fabric, such as Jacquard and velvet mix with glitter, decorated with Asymmetrically Draped technique too. All those details are adopted in fashion design to make SAKU wearers in this collection feel special and look striking in every occasion, as if they are in MET Gala, and make people all around them excited and tote-tally charmed.
